HIPLAY — Legal

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026 · Effective: November 5, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy is issued by Shenzhen Zhaiyou Software Technology Co., Ltd., a company organised under the laws of the People's Republic of China, with its place of business in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. We publish games under the brand HIPLAY. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

You can reach us at any time at homeisplay@gmail.com.

2. Scope

This policy covers two things:

  • our mobile games distributed on Google Play, currently Epic Ragdoll Battle Simulator (package identifier com.homeplay.wargames); and
  • this website, including all pages under this domain.

It does not cover Google's own processing when you use the Google Play store or Google services. Google's privacy policy applies to those services.

3. Information we collect

Our games collect and share the following categories of data through the service providers listed in section 5:

Device and advertising identifiers

Such as the Android advertising ID, app-set identifiers and device or app instance IDs. These are collected and shared with our advertising and analytics partners, and are the main way we recognise a device without ever knowing who holds it.

Approximate location (optional)

Derived from your IP address — for example, country or city level. It is never precise GPS location. It is collected and shared to serve relevant advertising and to comply with regional rules.

App activity and in-app interactions

Such as sessions, game levels started and completed, ad impressions and purchase events. These are collected and shared in aggregate form with our analytics and advertising partners so we can improve the game.

Purchase confirmations

When you make a purchase, Google Play Billing processes it and sends us a confirmation that a purchase took place. We never receive your payment card details.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data. The game requires no account and asks for none of these. If you contact us at homeisplay@gmail.com for support or a privacy request, we inevitably receive your email address in that message. That is the only way we ever hold an email address, and we use it solely to answer you.

This website

This website carries no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no tracking scripts. We do not set cookies for marketing or measurement. Like any website, our hosting provider's server logs may temporarily contain your IP address for security and operational purposes.

4. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We process the data described above for the following purposes:

  • Analytics and service improvement. Understanding how the game is played so we can fix problems and make better design decisions. Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Advertising and marketing. Serving ads and measuring ad performance, which keeps the game free to download. Where required, we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), including consent for personalised advertising and for the use of approximate location. You can withdraw consent at any time using the controls in section 11.
  • Purchases. Validating and fulfilling in-app purchases, and keeping the accounting records the law requires us to keep. The legal basis is contract necessity (Article 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) respectively.
  • Security. Protecting the game and this website against fraud, abuse and attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

California privacy categories (CCPA/CPRA)

For California residents: in the preceding twelve months we have collected the categories of personal information described in section 3 — identifiers (device and advertising IDs), internet or network activity (app interactions) and geolocation (approximate location). We use them for the business purposes listed above. We do not sell personal information for money. For cross-context behavioural advertising, our advertising partners process identifiers such as the advertising ID, which California law may classify as "sharing" personal information. You may opt out of that sharing at any time using the device-level ad controls in section 11 or by emailing us as described in section 9. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal on this website. We do not use or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising based on data collected on this website.

5. Advertising and analytics partners

We work with a small number of providers to run and improve our games. The current list:

  • Google AdMob (Advertising) — Serves the advertising that keeps the game free to download. AdMob may use advertising identifiers and approximate location for ad delivery, frequency capping and measurement. See: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase (Analytics) — Collects app-usage events such as sessions and in-app interactions so we can understand, in aggregate, how the game is played and what to improve next. See: Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google Play Billing (Purchases) — Processes purchases of in-app items. Payment details stay with Google; we receive only a confirmation that a purchase took place. See: Google Privacy Policy.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Crash diagnostics) — Reports crashes and errors so we can find and fix bugs quickly after a release. See: Google Privacy Policy.

This list reflects the providers integrated in our games as of the effective date shown at the top of this page. We keep it under review — if the list changes, we will update this section.

6. Children's privacy

Epic Ragdoll Battle Simulator is rated Everyone 10+ on Google Play. Our games are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area, where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at homeisplay@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly. This section reflects the requirements of the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Article 8 of the GDPR on children's consent.

7. International data transfers

We are based in China and operate no game servers of our own. Player data is processed by the third-party providers listed in section 5 (Google AdMob, Firebase, Play Billing and Crashlytics) on infrastructure operated by those providers outside mainland China. The data described in this policy is therefore processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.

Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by our service providers.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for each purpose:

  • Analytics events: retained for up to 14 months.
  • Ad interaction logs: retained for up to 24 months.
  • Purchase and tax records: retained for up to 7 years, as required by accounting and tax law.
  • Support correspondence: kept until your request is resolved, then up to 24 months so we can follow up on recurring issues.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it so it can no longer be linked to you or your device.

9. Your rights

European Economic Area and the United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict processing, to receive it in a portable format, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct inaccurate information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.

How to exercise your rights

Email homeisplay@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Request". Tell us which game you play and, if you know it, your advertising ID (see section 11 for where to find it) — that is the main identifier that lets us find the records that matter. We respond within 30 days for requests under the GDPR and within 45 days for requests under the CCPA/CPRA. We may ask a clarifying question if a request is ambiguous, but we never require you to send identity documents for these requests.

10. EU and UK representative

Shenzhen Zhaiyou Software Technology Co., Ltd. is established in Shenzhen, China, outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Because we offer our games to people in the EEA and the UK and monitor behaviour there, GDPR Article 27 requires us to designate a representative in the Union, and UK GDPR Article 27 requires the equivalent for the UK.

We are in the process of appointing our EEA and UK representatives. We will publish their names and contact details here before this game is next updated for those markets. Until then you may reach us about any privacy matter — including anything you would raise with a representative — at homeisplay@gmail.com, and we will respond within the 30-day GDPR period described in section 9.

11. Your choices and opt-outs

You control the main identifier our games use directly from your device:

  • On Android, open Settings → Google → Ads (on some devices: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
  • Choose Delete advertising ID to remove it entirely — apps on that device will then be unable to use it for personalised advertising.
  • Or choose Reset advertising ID to replace it with a new one, breaking the link to previous activity.

These device-level controls limit ad personalisation for the whole device and serve as the opt-out of personalised advertising, including any "sale" or "sharing" of your data under California law. Where consent is required by law, it is collected in the game before personalised advertising begins.

12. Security

Data sent between your device and our service providers is transmitted over TLS/HTTPS. Access to the data we hold is limited to the people who need it to run and support our games. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take safeguarding your data seriously and review our practices regularly.

13. Third-party stores

Our games are distributed through Google Play. The transaction between you and the store — downloading the game, making a purchase, requesting a refund — is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy, which you can find on the Google Play website. Google is a separate controller for the data it processes as a store and as an advertising or analytics provider.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our games, providers or legal obligations change. The revised version is published on this page with a new "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also surface it in the game or on this website so you have a chance to review it before it applies to you.
