About the studio
Physical battles, global stores.
HIPLAY is the public brand of Shenzhen Zhaiyou Software Technology Co., Ltd., an independent game studio based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. We make physics-driven strategy games for Android and publish them on Google Play.
Who we are
We are an independent studio operating as Shenzhen Zhaiyou Software Technology Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen, China. HIPLAY is the name players know — the brand under which our games ship and the name you will see on our Google Play developer page.
We keep the scope narrow and the focus sharp: a single genre we know deeply, executed with care, iteration and a lot of playtesting.
What we make
Physics-driven strategy games. Our first title, Epic Ragdoll Battle Simulator, lets you place an army on the battlefield and watch the fight resolve through real ragdoll physics — more than 15 factions, dozens of unit types, campaign levels and a sandbox for staging anything you can imagine.
We believe a battle simulator should be fun even when you lose. The physics does surprising things, and half the fun is finding out what happens next.
How we work
We ship to global stores. HIPLAY games are available today on Google Play, where every update goes through the same store review our players rely on.
We plan to bring our games to the Apple App Store as well, and are preparing for that step — when it happens, it will be announced on this site and on our store pages.
Player-first support is part of how we work: every message to our support inbox is read by the people who build the games.
Approach
How we build
- Physics first.
- If a battle can be resolved by a dice roll, we are not interested. Outcomes come from the simulation.
- Readable depth.
- Depth that a new player cannot perceive is just noise. Every system has to be visible on screen.
- Ship, then improve.
- We release small, watch how people actually play, and patch often.
- Support ourselves.
- There is no publisher between you and us — bug reports reach the people who wrote the code.
